Authorities have located a man who has been wanted in connection with serious criminal charges in the state of Pennsylvania. The man, who is now 63 years of age, has been wanted for almost two decades for the sex crime charges. When his location was discovered, it appeared that he had been living a quiet life and working at a local Wal-Mart, where he was recently arrested for his alleged crimes.
Some of the criminal charges against the man are connected to the alleged molestation of his three children. Those actions were alleged to have taken place over a period of three years. In 2002, a federal warrant was issued for his arrest, based on the assertion that he may have been attempting to flee from prosecution.
As the case moves forward, the eventual outcome still remains uncertain. The man was found guilty of devious sexual intercourse with the three children. He was scheduled to appear for sentencing, but he did not come to court to complete that process. Due to this, he will now be scheduled for a new sentencing hearing.
In searching for the man, authorities made use of biometric analysis to track his whereabouts across several states, including that of Pennsylvania. Eventually, they were able to access state driver's licensing files, which led them to the man's most recent address. He was arrested without incident, and it is not clear whether he has retained legal counsel in the matter, or when he will face sentencing for the sex crime charges.
