Police say Pennsylvania man faces weapons charges

| Jul 24, 2013 | Weapons Crimes |

When someone is accused of committing a crime, even if they are not guilty, their entire life can be permanently affected. One young man in Pennsylvania is facing weapons charges for reportedly stealing guns and rifles from a home. The man was arrested and was held pending further legal proceedings in his case.

The man is alleged of having broken into a home in early July. While allegedly inside he is accused of taking several different types of firearms, including a few that were described by the owner as being antiques. He is further alleged to have taken a few other items from the home as well.

The 23-year-old man was arrested days later after the alleged theft. Police have stated that they found the man with some firearms that had been reported stolen and that he wasn’t in possession of a license confirming the ownership of the guns. Police claim the man was arrested after they had been looking into the theft allegations. Police have also alleged that the charged man had talked about the theft with a relative.

This young man who is facing the weapons charges will have the opportunity to present the best possible defense against these charges. He has not been convicted of any crime at this time and as yet the outcome of these alleged charges have not been determined. Pennsylvania laws do afford him the opportunity to seek information that could allow him to arrive at the best possible resolution for this situation.
