Experienced State and Federal Criminal Defense Lawyer

Trust — This Will All Come Down to Trusting Your Trial Lawyer

Your defense attorney’s experience is an important component of success, but the right kind of experience makes a decisive difference. Hiring an attorney is much like hiring any other licensed specialist: The qualifications and skills must meet your specific needs. Hire an attorney you can believe in because, ultimately, your case will come down to trust.

We Use Our Experience to Go Beneath the Surface of the Evidence

Attorney Stephen M. Misko has extensive experience on both sides of the criminal justice system. As a former law enforcement officer, federal investigator and prosecutor, he knows how the county, state or federal prosecutors will prepare and present their case against you. We use that knowledge to explore and exploit every legal window of opportunity for your benefit.

Effective criminal defense is more than just defending against the facts in evidence. While the prosecutor places a priority on getting a conviction, your attorney’s obligation is to protect your constitutional rights throughout the judicial process.

We Represent People — Not Evidence

That’s why our experience with the law, rules of procedure, sentencing guidelines, court procedures and the expectations of individual judges and prosecutors is so important. Protecting your future means looking beneath the surface of the charges to tell your story and aggressively fight for a fair outcome that is right for you and your family.

"We firmly believe it is our responsibility to stand and fight aggressively to protect your future. We represent you with integrity and honesty and are extremely responsive and available when you need us." - Stephen Misko

Flat Fee for Services ▪ Flexible Consultations ▪ Payment Plans

We charge a reasonable, flat fee for our services because we know you will have questions and request specific advice over the next several weeks and months. In fact, some cases take years to resolve. Sometimes, you may just want to call and talk about your concerns. We don’t think it is right to bill you whenever you have a question.

From our offices in Butler, we represent people charged with violations ranging from traffic offenses to misdemeanors, and felonies in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania. We also provide representation for grand jury appearances in state and federal court.

We will travel to meet at a time and location most convenient for you. Contact us to discuss the circumstances of your case right away.
